BikeWalkLee believes that including a "complete streets" approach on the front end of any project ensures that all transportation users will be considered and that most access, safety and efficiency will be the result. Streets designed for motor vehicles along are unsafe to all users, and fixing past mistakes is far more expensive than building our transportation network right in the first place.
But BikeWalkLee also believes that all transportation users have responsibilities to fulfill in order that all users can coexist safely and effectively on local streets ― even streets that lack the full array of attributes that would make them complete.
